ABOUT THE EXAMINATION
The post UTME
examination is computer based. You are expected to answer 60 questions in one
hour. Each question carries 6.67 points. The questions are not beyond what you
know or done in your O‘ level, but they are rather technical questions. You
will offer your jamb subject combinations as well.
Your Average is
calculated by summing up your Jamb and post UTME scores and dividing it by two.
E.g If your Jamb score is 270 and your post UTME score is 280, your average
will be 270+280/2=550/2=275. Your average determines your fate if you will get
admitted in the first batch (merit list), second/third/fourth
batch(supplementary list). Your average has to exceed the cut off mark of your
chosen course in order to make it on the merit list.
By this analysis
given above, it shows that your post UTME plays a major role in determining
your admission fate this year. So if you have a low Jamb score, do not be
discouraged instead try hard to attain a very high score in your post UTME.
Also, if you scored high in Jamb, do not be so over-confident that you neglect
performing your best in the upcoming post UTME examination.
